Marilyn Brodeur, EA President
Brodeur Tax and Accounting Services opened in January 2018 – providing tax preparation, tax planning and accounting to individuals, small businesses, trusts and estates. Stock Options is one of my specialties!
Marilyn has been providing tax and accounting services to small business and individual tax clients for over 30 years. Marilyn worked for 23 years at Tax & Business Services of Wakefield, 10 years for Cary & Johnson CPA's in Melrose and several accounting managers positions before entering the public accounting industry. She earned her EA license from the IRS in 1993, has been a member of Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents and a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents since 1992. Marilyn also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University. Annual participation in Continuing Professional Education courses offered by local chapters of national accounting and tax associations keeps her on the leading edge of ever-changing tax laws and accounting methods.
In her time away from the office she enjoys time at the beach, reading and time spent with her husband, Steve and children Alex and Jamie. . Also, an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. As a two-time cancer survivor, she supports other women in treatment. Also, a volunteer and supporter of the Tanner Ta Ta Organization of Woburn.
Mason Klinck, EA – 1st Vice President
Mason Klinck has been both a Revenue Agent for the IRS as well as a Partnership Auditor for the California Franchise Tax Board, with an emphasis on abusive multi-tier tax shelters. In addition, he has worked for law and public accounting firms in taxpayer defense, legal research, tax planning and return preparation. His practice now consists of taxpayer representation as well as consulting. Mason has managed VITA sites, and done pro bono work for Low Income Taxpayer Clinics in California, Massachusetts and Vermont. He has taught in graduate tax programs and published in the technical press. Mason holds two degrees from Oxford as well as a Master of Science in Taxation and an MBA, and is on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents.
Nate Zielonka, EA 2nd Vice President
Nathan Zielonka is Boston born and bred. He graduated from Boston Latin School and earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Harvard and Boston Universities. After 15 years of experience as an advisor and consultant with H&R Block, Block Financial, TurboTax and Ameriprise Financial he formed his own firm, Zielonka Financial Services, to provide a customized approach to clients whose needs had grown more complex than they were comfortable managing, or who simply became aware that their time was better spent with their families or working in their areas of specialization rather than attempting to keep up with changes in the tax laws or investment strategies.
Mr. Zielonka is a financial planner holding the CFP designation and licensed by the Internal Revenue Service to represent taxpayers before the IRS. He specializes in helping clients with annual tax filing preparation as well as longer term planning to take advantage of evolving tax opportunities. He also develops financial plans by helping to identify and prioritize achievable goals, managing both retirement and non-retirement investments and take steps to manage risk. Nate firmly believes that whether your goal is family security, retirement savings, education planning for children (or grandchildren), or leaving a legacy for family or charity, planning is the first step to making that happen.
Mr. Zielonka is a member of Temple Emanuel. He lives in Boston with his wife and daughter, currently a junior at Boston Latin School. Nate is active in Brotherhood and believes in giving back to the community. He has served as a Director of the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents in addition to serving on the Board of Urban Edge Community Development Corporation, a non-profit housing corporation in the Roxbury – Jamaica Plain neighborhoods where Nate grew up.
Jonathan Green, EA- Treasurer
Lisa Wright, EA- Secretary
Lisa A. Wright, the owner of Bookswright™ Advisors, LLC, has been working with individuals, sole proprietors, partnerships and corporations for ten years strategizing to lower tax burdens and simplify accounting and bookkeeping, while providing key monthly information to owners so that they can make sound business decisions. Lisa earned her Master of Science in Taxation at Suffolk University along with a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting in 2012. She became and Enrolled Agent in 2017. She also graduated from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor of the Arts in German. She’s been on the MASEA Board of Directors since 2018 and is in her second year as Secretary.
Jill Ferioli-Lockhart, EA – Director
Jill is an Enrolled Agent who has been preparing taxes for individuals and small businesses for over 25 years. She brings over thirty years’ experience in small business; holding positions of Comptroller, Finance Director and Operations Manager in the health, manufacturing, and retail industries. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst as well as an MBA from Northeastern University. She loves cooking, gardening, and playing with her puppies.
Thomas L. Fitzpatrick IV, EA - Director
Thomas graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a bachelor degree in Marketing and completed his MBA at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Thomas passed the CPA exams and earned his CPA license in May 2022. He also earned his Enrolled Agent credential in December 2017. He is also a federally-licensed tax practitioner who may represent taxpayers before the IRS. Thomas passed the Series 65 exam in January 2020 and is an Investment Advisor Representative.
Thomas serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents and is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Accountants. He is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor for the Desktop, Online, Point-Of-Sale, and Enterprise products.
Thomas and his wife, Jacqulyn, grew up in Billerica and now reside in Tyngsboro with their daughter and dog.

Tracie Drouin, EA
With more than 25 years of experience in public accounting and private industry, Tracie Drouin serves a diverse client base that includes family-owned businesses, manufacturers, sole proprietorships, multi-state corporations, trusts, and not-for-profit organizations. Her clients range from “start-ups” to established business.
Tracie is known for retaining clients by cultivating strong working relationships. She has significant experience in federal, state and local tax preparation and strategic tax planning for closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals. She is an Enrolled Agent, has a passion for helping people, and serves the community by volunteering for various charitable organizations.
Amit Johar, EA – Past President:
Amit became an EA in 2015. Since then, he has been an active board member of MASEA. His practice focuses primarily on Small Businesses Taxes and Small Business Financial Planning. In addition to preparing tax returns, Amit has front line experience on running a business from Startup to Maturity.
