MaSEA Offers members five zoom calls with MA DOR Taxpayer Advocate Dana Ackerman. This RSVP is specifically for Worchester Roundtable and NNE members on May 26. Among the issues to be covered are the new commissioner, 2020 filing season status, updates on DOR operations (collections, appeals, audits), COVID-19 relief provisions, COVID-19 telecommuting TIR 20-5, E-Sig DD 20-1, new vape tax and new federal tax form 1099 NEC. There is ample time for questions.

Recent successes with Zoom Tax Talk Round Tables have allowed MaSEA to broaden the Tax Talk Distancing Forums. Once you register for this session you will receive an invite prior the start time. There is no fee. Registrants earn two NAEA member CE credits and no IRS CPE credit. Sessions run from 1PM to 3PM.

In normal times, Dana would traipse the Commonwealth to appear in person. These zoom sessions are logically geographic suggested gatherings and not enforced. It is hoped to provide some participation balance this way.
