This presentation is an overview of the Taxpayer Advocate Service, the National Taxpayer Advocate’s Annual Report to Congress, and the effects of the pandemic on the IRS. The latest IRS procedural and technological changes take a giant leap to make the IRS more of a self-service operation. Every tax practitioner should follow TAS on FaceBook and Twitter, be familiar with IRS & TAS on YouTube and Medium. At this time While WebEx audits are underway, low tech logjams, like mailroom backlogs exist. Get the latest news about working with the IRS.
