1040 Tax Update

With Amit Johar, Beth Logan, Lisa Wright, Paul Massa, Gregory Zakarian & Scott Franklin

When: December 9, 1PM-5PM

Can't make it on December 9? We're doing it all again on January 8! Click here.

Where:  Via Zoom

Organized and sponsored by the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents, it's the most popular MaSEA education event of the year, with two virtual dates to accommodate your schedule and CPE needs. MaSEA leadership will present the 1040 Update to prepare tax professionals for the upcoming 2021 filing season. Participants will learn the major details of the American Rescue Plan, CARES and SECURE Acts, specifically the changes to refundable credits, COVID-related deductions, credits and income deferrals, and IRAs. Topic Materials will be distributed in a PDF format.

The same program is offered before 2021 ends and just as 2022 begins. Earn 3 hours of IRS-Approved CE Credit, plus one NAEA CE credit. Topic Materials will be distributed in a PDF format.

Every effort is made to make the two programs identical, but anything signed by the President in December is NOT part of the December 9 presentation. Those registering for the December program want a jump start on organizers, tax season preparations and 2021 IRS CE. They may require an additional “New Tax Law Update” to learn all that is necessary for this 2022 filing season. Those who register for the January program will earn 2022 IRS CE and might have access to new tax law updates.  Folks are able to register for both programs by paying two fees
