After reviewing the taxing of Social Security and Railroad Retirement, we will look at strategies to reduce taxes throughout one’s retirement years. Moving to Florida or New Hampshire are not your only options. We’ll also look at two case studies.

About Our Speakers

Elizabeth Wilds

Elizabeth Wilds is a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial serving clients in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She has been an EA since 1999 and has worked as an estates and trust paralegal and a tax preparer. She has prepared taxes for individuals, non-profits and estates and trusts. She incorporates her past experience in financial plans and recommends subjects for her clients to discuss with their tax preparers in retirement and tax planning.

Beth Logan

Beth Logan has been an Enrolled Agent since 2013 with a tax practice and business consulting company. She teaches tax classes to lay persons and other tax professionals. She is a nationally published author on taxes, including Divorce and Taxes After Tax Reform. In the lulls between tax seasons, she helps small businesses grow and advises businesses and individuals on financial decisions that can impact their taxes. She has an MBA from the University of Maryland and two engineering degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology.
